Sync4us terms of use.

Access and scope

Sync4us is a Windows desktop app in free beta, offered by Aitor Pérez Gutiérrez’s Sync4us project. Access is granted automatically after email verification and confirmation of an available place. The global capacity includes people already admitted. Creating an account does not reserve a place. We may pause admissions without removing existing access; teams require an invitation. The waiting list does not guarantee access or activate automatic notifications. The app lets you organize time blocks and, if you choose to connect external services, retrieve and prepare operations with Jira Cloud or import time from Clockify. Some features require an internet connection and sufficient permissions in those services.

Your account and data

Use your own account and keep its credentials protected. Connect only sites and workspaces you are authorized to access. Before confirming a time entry, edit or deletion in Jira, review the content and destination shown by Sync4us. Planned or imported blocks do not by themselves represent confirmed time in Jira.

Blocks and work history are stored in the local Windows profile. Sync4us also processes account, license and Team data in its service. The Jira Cloud connection uses Atlassian’s OAuth consent; the Clockify API key is optional. Read the privacy information for details of the data processed, providers and how to exercise your rights.

Beta status and help

The beta may change and contain errors. Check the result of operations important to your work in Jira or Clockify and retain any backups your organization requires. If you encounter a problem, write to hello@sync4us.com without sending passwords, tokens or confidential data. This information does not limit your statutory rights.

Scope and limits of the beta

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the beta is provided without a guarantee of error-free operation, uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Its reports and calculations are supporting tools: they do not certify working time or replace the review needed for employment, payroll or regulatory compliance decisions.

If you use an organization’s data, you must have its authorization. That organization is responsible for defining the purpose of use and making its employment decisions. Sync4us does not assume those functions or guarantee the organization’s regulatory compliance; it retains the obligations applicable to its own service and data processing.

These limits do not exclude liability for willful misconduct or data protection obligations, guarantees or rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited.

Third-party services and trademarks

Jira Cloud and Clockify are independent services subject to Atlassian’s terms and CAKE.com’s terms, respectively. Sync4us is an independent product. Jira and Clockify belong to their respective owners; these integrations do not imply affiliation or sponsorship. API availability and permissions may change.
